
Chef Lisi-MacReady spent over 15 years in the food industry before studying Alta Cucina in Venezia, Italy at Hotel Danieli. In addition to working in Venezia, Chef Lisi-MacReady worked as a private chef in Rome as well as touring the country with a composer and his orchestra. Chef Lisi-MacReady then furthered her education upon her return to America, graduating with honors from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco. She is the chef/owner of the special events and catering firm Cielo (CHEE- A- LO) and has worked with such luminaries as Robin Williams, Jim Carrey, Bruce Willis, Kenny Rogers, The Doobie Bros., Tom Petty and Jackson Browne. Chef Lisi-MacReady is a published librettist and is currently in negotiations on her new cookbook.
Chef Lisi-MacReady is a Chef Instructor at the California School of Culinary Arts (CSCAS) Le Cordon Bleu Program in the Garde Manger department. A long time member of Women Chefs and Restaurateurs(WCR), Chef Lisi-MacReady is the Local Exchange Coordinator in Los Angeles and faculty advisor for WCR at CSCA. You can reach her at mlisi@scsca.com.
